NutriTeach is extremely fortunate to have on its team many highly qualified and experienced Nutritional Therapists. Here is a brief introduction to just a few of them.
Adri Bester BSc (Hons), MSc, DipION, mBANT
Adri has extensive experience in the food manufacturing, food retail and food supplement retail industries. as a food scientist, she has an intimate understanding of what goes in our food, and the processes used to manufacture and preserve the foods we buy in the supermarkets. She provides comprehensive nutrition science advice and support to food manufacturers for competitive product development and compliance to Health Claims Directive. As an international lecturer with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate concisely, Adri is comfortable working with people at all levels in an organisation.
Josie Cowgill BA (Hons) DipION, mBANT
An experienced nutritional therapist, researcher and writer, Josie also demonstrates that cooking healthy food can be quick, easy and fun. She also lectures on topics including nutritional content of food, menu planning, therapeutic foods and the pros and cons of different dietary regimes.
Gareth Edwards BSc, DipION, mBANT
A motivational speaker as well as a nutritional therapist, Gareth writes articles on health for several publications. He can also provide on-the-spot live blood analysis for clients.
Fiona Evans BSc (Hons) DipION, mBANT
Before becoming a nutritional therapist, Fiona worked at management level for an investment company. Now, as well as running her own private practice, she is a clinical tutor at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition and writes regularly for various magazines.
Lynn Fitzpatrick Personal Trainer
Exercise can improve mood, mental alertness and awareness and productivity at work and at home. It contributes to an overall more positive and focused attitude to life. Fitness is integral part of achieving full benefit from a Wellness Programme. Lynn will apply her 15 years experience in fitness training and teaching to providing fitness for weight loss, toning, golf biomechanics and general health and well-being. Personal training is available for one-to-ones or groups. It's motivational and guarantees results.
Susannah Lawson DipION, mBANT
One of the first nutritional therapists in the country to be accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Council, Susannah also writes about health for mainstream media and is a published author. Susannah is experienced presenter of health-related workshops and an expert on anti-aging.
Anne Pemberton BSc (Hons) Dip ION FDSc, mBANT
As well as being a qualified nutritional therapist, Anne is a Dermatology Nurse Advisor and also has 25 year's experience as a cardiothoracic nurse. An integral part of her experience has been to deliver educational programmes to people, from patients to PCTs and consultants.
Alison Sheldrick BSc (Hons), MSc, FdSc Dip I.O.N., mBANT
After spending more than twenty years as a Scientist researching the treatment of cardiovascular disease, Alison now runs her own Nutritional Therapy practice. She specialises in helping clients reduce their chance of developing cardiovascular disease by managing risk factors and encouraging changes in lifestyle. In addition, stress management, alleviation of digestive problems, and increasing energy levels are key areas of her practice. Alison is also an experienced presenter who delivers seminars on nutrition, health and wellbeing.
Charlotte Watts BA (Hons) Dip.ION mBANT
A published author, experienced nutritional therapist and tutor to nutritional therapy students, Charlotte specialises in stress disorders, mental health, chronic fatigue and addictions. She also consults with many corporate clients on improving healthy options available with the management and chefs of in-house staff restaurants.
Judy Watson Nutritional Therapist BSc(Hons)DipION MBANT
Judy has been Champney’s (Henlow) nutritionist for over 4 years educating people to manage their health (mind & body) via consultations, talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations. She was The Alternative Health Columnist for Natmags "Real People" in 2006 and provides expert advice on supplements/diet for numerous magazines. She has just returned from the USA helping a cyclist complete the "Race Across America."
